What’s it like to be a PEDro Rater – Valentin Vaillant

To celebrate #PEDroTurns25, we asked our PEDro Raters why they volunteer to rate articles on PEDro.

How long have you been a Rater?

I have been a PEDro Rater for 3 years.

What do you enjoy about rating?

Scoring articles allows me to keep up to date with the literature, as well as being legitimate to teach students on how to use the PEDro scale and critically review articles.

Why did you start rating?

I have started to rate articles because I am sensitive to the evaluation of the level of evidence of research studies, and on a personal level to improve my reading of scientific articles in English!
